Military...sorta. I'm active duty Air Force, but I will be doing weather support for a small Army detachment at the Seoul International Airport (AF weather does weather support for all the Army aviation units). From what i have heard it is a pretty cushy gig, as far as Korea and Army support goes.
This is definately the one downside! I had plans with friends to go down to Austin for the game...looks like that is off now :(. I'll probably be depending on BP to follow live and my folks to record the games for me next season. It's only one year. Hell, I spent three in England and got by.
The adjustment might not be too bad, it looks like you're already on Seoul time.
I see a lot of posts between 4 and 5 am, St. Louis time.
Found out today I got an assignment to Seoul, Korea. I've been trying to get over there for nine months now, and I'll be there mid-July. It's a nice cushy 7-4 Monday-Friday job which beats the hell outta the retarded hours I work here. Best part is, its only a 12 month tour, and I get to hand-pick my next assignment. Gonna be celebratin' tonight.

That's a nice gig, I enjoyed Colorado Springs, back in the early 80's. I was a cadet at the AF Academy.Found out my follow on assignment(after a year in Korea) will be to Peterson AFB, CO in Colorado Springs. SWEEEEEEEEEEET.
If you're not above sloppy seconds, I can hook you up with a couple of phone numbers. Have fun over there.
