Which Buckeye had the greatest impact on the Ohio State history of the position he played?

  • Brian Hartline

  • Other (This is the wrong answer)

“He's a huge reason why,” Quinn said. “Brian Hartline is one of the hardest workers. He’s able to recruit that position. Because if you look at what he was as an NFL wide receiver. He was a technician. He was good at route running. He understood coverages. He’s taking everything he was as a player and he’s pouring it into these young men. He’s one of the hardest workers I’ve been around playing with him in 2014. … it’s a genuine sell, much like Larry Johnson, and that’s why they’ve been so talented.”

I don’t know specifics, but I’m being told OSU is carving out a special role on top of his position coach job, that pays him what is basically fair market value (more than he currently makes bc he’s a badass). Sounds like a special title on top of WR coach.

I say fantastic.
I don't care if you have to install a diamond-studded toilet in his office bathroom, just do whatever it takes to keep him here.

And thankfully, Ohio State's got that part down, finishing with three of the top-10 recruiters in the nation.

And this doesn't include the guy that's currently favored to land two five-star, top-five players in the country.

Yes, Larry Johnson is somehow all the way down at No. 24. But it's tough to imagine he'd stay there if Ohio State lands J.T. Tuimoloau.

These rankings dont even make sense. Hartline and Huff have the same number of commits and very close as the 1 and 2 for avg, yet the Points are far apart? Hows that work?
