I don't know if the o-line was dominant in the trenches in run blocking situations. Most of Saine's runs, and some of Boom's, were met with at least one defender behind the line of scrimmage. I thought it would be better against a YSU caliber team.

I remember being concerned about this last year. Pass blocking on the whole appeared very good. Run blocking was lacking for a line supposed to be that good.

Overall though a great game with veterans stepping up and young players looking promising.

I think the "... FIRST DOWN!" thing is stupid. I went to a game at Miami (OH) and they do that crap.

Yea, as I stated in the "game one" post this is annoying as hell. They do something even more annoying at Purdue.

And what about the heat?? There were older fans dropping like flies around me. Some guy carried an older woman down 20 rows in C deck over his shoulder. She looked dead. When the game was over she was comfortably resting on a stretcher.

I hope it's cooler for the OU game. My beer buzz was gone half way into the first quarter :(.
