NY WR/SF Jordan Fuchs (UConn Signee; transfer to Indiana)

As was said during Pryor's recruitment, there are plenty of 6'6" ultra-athletic small forwards out there trying to make a basketball roster.

Ultra-athletic 6'6" wide receivers on the football field? Not so much.

True, but pryor was also living in a pro football town and playing for a team that was better in football. This kid lives in nyc and plays for a premier team in the tri state. I can bet any amount of money that CTK has produced far more pro bball prospects than in football. And in the professional ranks, bball will earn u a lot more money. Not saying I wouldn't like to see this in s&g, but wouldn't at all be surprised if he picked bball

At the same time, there are a LOT fewer players on an NBA roster than on an NFL roster, and it is much less likely to become a pro basketball player than to become a pro football player. I see what you're saying, but only the very elite go on to play basketball professionally. The same is true with football, but at least you have 32 different 53-man rosters you can potentially make, not to mention the CFL and everything else. Anyways, back to Jordan

I didn't mean professional football, I meant jeannette is more of a football town than basketball.

And redguard those r all good points, especially about the numbers in the nfl as opposed to the nba. But just from having a lot of friends in nyc and living there myself when younger, the people around may push him more towards basketball, imo. Especially going to that school. Making and starting for christ the king is a humongous deal in nyc. Its like making the glenville football team in Cleveland, or making the football teams for Odessa permian or northwestern in Miami. The entire city worships u as a teenager.
And there r plenty more professional basketball teams and leagues around the world than in football. My bad for getting off track again, just thought some of the info was pertinent.

Btw, have we gotten any nyc kids to osu before? I know we were close a year ago with the kid who ended up going to ND

I see your new to the forum, so, welcome. Are you posting because you really value this recruit or he is coming down to FNL towards the end of the month?

this kid has 24 d1 basketball offers and they call him bo jackson
but he has a chance to really make his mark on the football world--
size speed power toughness hard worker and high iq--that doesnt come along to often
he has only attended 3 football camps, uconn, rutgers and cuse--all have offered after seeing his skill set--
his senior year will be one for the record books--barring injury--
buckeye nation should really rally and try to land this kid--
he also wants to play basketball in college..will be tough to do for sure--
hard to do both

he has been playing power forward, but is a 2 guard
but i would have to say that football is where he could be a pro--
altough 6 of his dudes, that he has played with and /or trained with are in the nba jordan has pro potential in both

i would say for him to play football and concentrate on that, but to continue to work on his bball game---ask charlie ward---lol
