If it makes you feel better, I don't think they (Northwestern) are as bad as the record indicates. They had some lofty expectations this year, and I think that after a couple of bad breaks early in the season, the wheels came off and they underacchieved until the past couple of weeks.

With all the distractions going on at Penn State this week I would say Nebraska would be a "lock" to win there this weekend; however, what do I know? I thought they were a "lock" to win at home vs Northwestern.

For all their inconsistency, it's fair to say that no team is a "lock" to beat Northwestern. They're likely to lose to a team by 60, then beat them the following year.
