I think you're forgetting the guy who shows up with the white cape and cowboy hat and his moustach and goatee dyed (stained?) red and the four stooges who wear fright wigs and shoulder pads with dixie cups glued to them. Given that group that manages to get on TV at every damn OSU game I'd go easy on anyone but Notre Dame fans.

Yeah, I know it has been posted before. But is soooo good it is worth seeing again. However, it does need to be updated since they did win a bowl game this century now.

Hawaii is apparently the new Notre Dame - the team that makes their opponent look like world champions.

Instead of "Return to Glory II" coming out next year, expect "Return to 'We suck less than we did last year'" Coming soon to a bookstore near you.

Actually around 4,400 yards and 32 TD's He started the season really strong this year and really sucked at the end. His bowl game passer rating was like
277.63 WTF!! That is the highest I have ever seen. Anyone know what the one game record is ??

Again, let's all remember that we are talking about a QB rating performance against a team ranked below #80 in most power ratings.

Some of us might have looked good against Hawaii in that game.

You mean like Charlie, who tried to hype up the home field advantage (wiped out by weeks of bowl prep) and past history to try and paint this as anything other than a cushy matchup with a horrendous ballclub?

Hawaii got beat down by a 3-9 Utah State team. They are a shell of their former selves, which wasn't that good either.

For an offense featuring the QB, that's not that great.
He started the season really strong this year and really sucked at the end.

aka he played SDSU, UM, Purdue early (he struggled vs a limited but toughnosed sparty D), and then played better defenses (UNC, Pitt, BC, USC).

Now he played a horrendous football squad and lit up their defense.

Let the domers pump this into more than it truly represents. Next year's tragic letdown will only be that much more crushing. Now, they're expecting a 10 win season and a BCS bowl. I don't see it.

1 blowout loss: USC
2 certain losses: BC, Sparty
1 probable loss: Pitt
5 toss ups: Nevada, Navy, Stanford, Purdue, Michigan
3 likely wins: Washington, Washington State, UCONN

A high quality coach would win the games he had to, win the 5 of 6 of the probably loss/toss up games and upset BC or Sparty to go 9-3 against that schedule. CW will not.
