As bad as Ntre Ame got when Bob Davie and Ty Willingham were there and even through the experiment with Charlie and The FUPA factory, Ntre Ame never really bottomed out all the way. Their floor was significantly lower than what they actually went down too, which continued the over-hype and expectation.

They may now be finally starting that process, at least in terms of fan expectations and media hype.

I wouldn't root for Notre dame if Christ were their coach, but the last two guys make the task of rooting against them so much more pleasurable.

How can you be the Notre dame coach and kvetch about playing a game in Ireland --- against Navy?

This just about equals the whining stupidity on BWI.

Thats because Kelly berates his QBs on the sidelines every time they make a mistake. Kelly seems more interested in tearing his QB down then building them up. I don't know how any of them have any confidence to throw the ball knowing Kelly is on the sidelines waiting to tear into them if they throw an interception. I swear, one of these games Kelly is going to throw his headphones at a QB.

Yes he did.......

"I've always felt like to have a successful team you've got to have a few bad citizens on the team," Pinkett said on WSCR-AM (670). "That's how Ohio State used to win all the time. They would have two or three guys that were criminals and that just adds to the chemistry of the team. I think Notre Dame is growing because maybe they have some guys that are doing something worthy of a suspension which creates edge on the football team.
