Notre Dame (football only discussion)

I have only half-heartedly followed recruiting for the past 25 years, but even as little as I pay attention to it I have seen a kid "gain a star" by committing to Ntre Ame on dozens of occasions. A 3-star that commits to play in South Bend gets a 4th star, and 4-stars that choose the domers get a 5th. It happens all the time. It has been suggested by many that this is done because the subway alumni follow recruiting closer than any other group. Whatever. It results in NoD looking bad compared to their supposed talent level, so it works for me.

Hey DickRod....this is how you do it. Insincere or not, at least he said the right thing.

"I'd like to thank D.J. for all he has given to this team in his three years and wish him well in his future endeavors," Weis said.

Dear God - we are looking to CW for role model help for RR. How much worse can it get?

Nah, I don't like that way, I prefer the ole "don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out" Besides, we all know that I am a recruiting god, if I talk to someone, they are coming to West Virginia... err wait, I mean Michigan!
