Notre Dame (football only discussion)

I'll be shocked if NoD/NoO can find a way to beat anyone other than Michigan State and personally, I don't think they'll beat Michigan State at this point either.

IMO, MSU will romp unless ND can find someone to stop the run, which I don't see happening. Their best shot'll be a shootout combined with a MSU meltdown, but I don't see that happening under Dantonio

We will see. Coach D will have a chance to get his expectations drilled into that team hopefully by then so the possibility of a meltdown is lessened. Unfortunately until he has a full recruiting class and a year with those who are there, they are still tainted by John L Smith

Coach D has Jehuu Caulcrick and Javon Ringer, and he's smart enough to recognize it. Frankly, that scares the shit out of me.

EDIT: Caulcrick was Big Ten POW

Remember kids, Charlie the Genius left his 1st string offense in against Penn State last year in a rout, having Quinn throwing for TDs while already up 34-3 in the 4th quarter.

Keep that in mind as (1) Notre Dame's backups enter this year with zero real game experience since last years offense was selfishly padding its stats and (2) Penn State smacks the bitch out of Charlie Weis this year.

Joe Pa might be a senile old coot, but he probably hasn't forgotten that....

4th and pick your number, remember ND going for it on 4th down. Hunks of craw will be regurgitated in Happy Valley this weekend.
