Great site!

On a side note, I was at a party on Saturday night and some guy there in a USC jersey said "They need to get rid of Pete Carroll." Later he told me that it wasn't the coach, it was the school and that USC was always a powerhouse and Carroll just walked into a good situation

Was he talking about the same powerhouse that went 6-6, 6-5, 8-5, 6-6, 5-7, and 6-6 (37-35) the six seasons before Carroll's hiring?

Yeah, I know, my response was something to the effect of "We have Tressel who has a similiar record and he's the most loved person in Ohio right now." It seems to be the Southern California mentality though, people want Scioscia canned, never mind he won thier first championship, they want Buss to sell the Lakers, never mind how many titles he's brought to the city.

OC, if you see that guy again maybe you could ask him:

If PC walked into such a great situation, why did I never meet a USC fan when I lived in Orange County during the years that Mili mentioned?
I know what you're talking about, I have friends who are NoD fans that would go to the game just to watch the annual beat down of USC.

I have to point out that many of these "Long Term" USC fans also tried to convince me that they have always owned NoD and UCLA.

Sorry for going off topic, so let me say.
Notre Dame sucks, nuff said.

Jesus Christ, Mili, what did you do? I try to give you some greenies for this bit of logic and I get told to run the manure spreader elsewhere:biggrin:.

But yeah, the USC program was just sitting there. I mean how does this program lose something like 17 straight to ND during a time when ND is just average for a top tier school?

Ntre Ame's latest plan: "Dig up the echoes." I'm not sure if they're trying to clone him or not.

Notre Dame football star Gipp's body exhumed for DNA testing

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. -- The body of George Gipp, the Notre Dame football player who inspired the rallying cry "Win one for the Gipper," was exhumed recently for DNA testing in his Upper Peninsula hometown.

The test was sought by the Gipp family and met legal requirements, Houghton County Medical Examiner Dr. Dawn Nulf said Wednesday, although it angered some relatives who live in the area where Gipp was born and raised.

Nulf declined comment about why the request was made.

An ESPN crew filmed the exhumation for an upcoming story, but a spokesman said the network played no role in arranging it.

Gipp's remains were taken Oct. 4 from Lake View Cemetery near the village of Laurium, about 550 miles northwest of Detroit, where he was buried in 1920 after dying from pneumonia and a strep infection during his senior year at Notre Dame. They were returned to the grave the same day, Nulf said.

Two big games coming up for any true domer hater. If Fat Bastard manages to pull either of these games (both at home) out of his ass--no matter how lucky, how much of a fluke or how much it might be the result of the other team self-destructing the win might be--expect the last 8 games to mean nothing. The Weis hype will roar back on to our televisions and in to our newspapers in full force.

The BC game has me worried the most. BC is great at smacking the domers down as an underdog. I'm curious to see how they handle being an overwhelming favorite.

I know these guys are delusional but I think I just found the king of them all.

Appears its only a matter of time for the inexperience to wear off and the talent to shine through....

:slappy::slappy::slappy:

You can't make this shit up, some Domer fuck has to type it.

Wow, just wow...

It should be noted that the Defense looked liked it clicked last week.

Did these guys actually watch the game? They do realize it wasn't their great defense as much as it was a quarterback who looked like he was afraid to be there right?
