But to answer the question, I don't think there's anyone in NCAA that wants to call anything on Notre Dame or USC (I know, I know, but imagine what would have happened to... oh, say, Illinois or K-State if reggie's real estate agent had been working for them. Take it even further imagine that had been Ohio State...).

Those two hold the keys to the two biggest TV markets in the US and that's money and at a 1.3 million payoff the NCAA is money ahead.

I read through a bit of it. Interesting to see a site moderator named KURZND make the following statement regarding Taylor Decker. "Guys like Taylor Decker are a dime a dozen". He was referencing the value of loss to the program of some of the departures, misses, these last several months. But I can't imagine we have any mods here that would make a statement like this.

i'd read it, but I was banned from that board without ever posting on there because I called the board a trainwreck after osu whipped ND in the Fiesta Bowl. I actually saved the pm's from Jeff Baumhower over it because it was comedic gold. A moderator from another team's board bans goes to a different school's site and bans people. He's the perfect representation of that fanbase.

Preface: a thread on the osu board with posters complaining for being banned from irish eyes for no reason. i go check out the ND board and see baumhower and mike frank bashing osu posters over there who did nothing wrong and subsequently banning them before any sort of rebuttal, or the rebuttals were quickly deleted.

I post, on the OSU BOARD, that II has been a trainwreck since ND got creamed by LSU, and that OSU folks were given no slack over there since the Fiesta Bowl, and quite frankly it didn't seem very professional. Let me repeat, ON THE OSU BOARD. I get the following PM

Yeah... I'm real impressed with you and the board you have here. Great thread... actually the profesional wouldn't have ripped me or Mike... Fantastic example.

Not to mention the throngs of Ohio State fans that go to our board and talk about fat Charlie. Any day on your board gives a good example of the class on the individual poster and the people who run it.

I know Bob and Powers very well... I'm hardly concerned about you doslike for me.

my follow up response:

i'm not a mod nor do I claim to be a professional, so, your first paragraph is moot. a random thread will reveal the laundry list of supposed osu fans banned from this site for their lack of posting etiquette. most of the good osu folks here police their own, and are quite cordial of outside posters. that is not even close to the case over at the ND board. of course, we could also discuss the multitude of classy osu posters banned from the ND board because you refuse to acknowledge any contrary opinion to the land of gumdrops and unicorns that is ND football.

you may know bob and powers well, but the fact still remains if they behaved in the manner that you and mike frank do on the ND boards with respect to outside posters, i would be embarassed for this site. the very fact that you felt the need to come over here and inbox some unprofessional random poster on this site shows that I hit pretty close to home.

I got a notice I was banned from irish eyes, and baumhower will not respond to a pm from me to this day, 5 years later.

It's the free board. My scout account is banned from there as well. But, if you log out, you can still view the threads.
