Notre Dame +9.5 at Okla (ov/un 48.5) Sat 8 ABC

As much as I'd love to see the Irish get curbstomped, I think ND plays them very tough and likely covers.

It's possible they play it close, but I think a lot of it will have to do how Oklahoma does passing the ball. Notre Dame's secondary should be their weak point, but so far the better passing teams they've faced haven't been able to get much going through the air to exploit that weakness. Notre Dame isn't going to beat anyone in a shoot out, thats for sure, so if Oklahoma has a big passing day I think they'll cover.

I took care of Stanford myself but I'm taking Rockne with me for this one. Win or lose, we're getting drunk and kicking the shit out of Bud Wilkinson after the game.

I'm pumped. This is the first time in about 40 years I can watch a night game without falling asleep by halftime. Just remember, they're called Chokelahoma for a reason.

Notre Dame's strength is the front 7. It's compensated for the not -so-great secondary.

OU will expose this in the quick passing game. ND on the road, at night, with a frosh QB. Boomer by 2 touchdowns. Maybe 3.

Undefeated top 5 ND is a 10 point underdog to #8 1 loss Oklahoma. LOL. It's like they know deep down that ND is trash.

ND 20 Purdue 17 OSU 29 Purdue 22 (OT)
ND 20 MSU 3 OSU 17 MSU 16
ND 13 Mich 6 TBD

I don't see much difference - could it be that the Big 10 is trash too? If Notre Dame plays your opponents at about the same level as you do, doesn't that seem to indicate that you and Notre Dame are pretty even?

IF ND gets by Oklahoma they'll be in a BCS game. If they get by Oklahoma ND will be talked about for the NC game until USC. Even if they lose both games, Golson will be getting as much or more pub for the 2013 Heisman as Braxton.

Best scenario for the Buckeyes?

BOOMER SOONER!!!
