My take on the first half:

UD could be in trouble because Butler hasn't done anything, Hunter/Koufus in foul trouble yet they only lead by 1 point.

Roberts played his usual first half. Great Defense and timely shooting. UD attacked the glass and Wright is definitely a factor.

Surprises:
*Searcy played pretty well after Huelsman got two fouls.
*Dielber only played 3 minutes yet seemed to play well. Great D and a nice assist.
*I thought Marcus Johnson would attack the hoop more. He only has taken it to the hoop one time and got a foul.

Overall...about what i expected.

What a great half of basketball......both teams playing hard and with intensity. I felt prior to the game that Roberts would get his points and so far he is.....I also felt if we could win the battle on the boards and the turnover war, we would win.....we are getting beat on the boards 20-11 and winning the turnover battle.....

31-30 bad guys...

First half definitely not lacking intensity...here's to the Buckeyes dominating the second half!!!

I don't know what that was about. Somebody with TiVo replay that and tell us what the heck he said. It sounded like "Buck-butt" but that makes absolutelty no sense to me.

Only 3 points on 8 offensive boards for Dayton in the first half.

Lighty with a steal to start the half. Turner on a nice slashing drive. 32-31.

Binnie misses a 3, Roberts misses a fallaway.

Diebs with a board, Turner with a quick bank-shot pullup. 34-31.

Huelsman scores inside, 34-33.

Foul on Johnson, his third, he comes out.

"Buck Buck" - It's a game where you yell "buck buck" and then everybody jumps on one person's back until they fall. I haven't heard it mentioned since we played it one time a church camp about 20 years ago.

Roberts misses a 3, Turner with a man's rebound, fouled by Sandoval.

KK fouled inside by Huelsman.

Turner misses a pullup J, commits a foul on the rebound.

Warren misses a runner.

Turner misses a 3 as the clock winds down.

Kicked ball by tOSU.

Diebs hits a 3! 39-35.

Foul on Huelsman on the offensive boards. tOSU ball.

Turner with a baseline drive, feeds KK in the paint, who's fouled going up.

He splits a pair, 40-35.

Highlights of Hobson and Sellers as tOSU won the NIT 20 years ago. Eldon Miller's last game as head coach.
