It's been fun to watch this team finally put it together. Even the loss to MSU in the Big 10 tourney was a well played game. It's great to see the crowd rockin'. I know it's always better to be in the Big Dance, but so far the NIT has not disappointed.

Roberts back in. Wright fed by Roberts, gets a basket and a foul on Hunter.

Misses FT, 24-26.

Twig misses a baseline J, tOSU keeps the ball.

Lighty scores a layup on the inbounds play. 26-26.

Roberts hits an open 3, 26-29.

Offensive foul on Hunter (his third). Ouch.

Indeed. Better than nothing. Two good wins and a great battle brewing tonight. These boys from Dayton are pretty good.

Lauderdale in for Hunter. He jumped on a fake, but Wright traveled before he was fouled.

Lighty loses it on a spin move.

Johnson faked a 3, drove inside, fouled by Twig.

Makes 2, 26-31 with 1:18 left in the half.

Butler feed Twig insode, he's fouled by Sandoval.

Makes a pair of FTs, 28-31.

Hill in, 1:04 left.

Sandoval misses a follow of an airball 3.

tOSU runs the floor, Hill fouled inside.

Makes a pair of FTs, 30-31. 43 seconds left. Timeout Dayton.

Hill and Butler both in and pressing.

Lauderdale with a big block inside. Butler couldn't save it.

Dayton ball, 11 seconds left. Delay of game warning on Lauderdale guarding the inbound pass. Dayton doesn't get a shot off.

30-31 at the half. Butler with 3 points but 6 assists.

I'll be wathcing ESPN at the half to see Buford and Mullens in the McDonald's HS All-Star game.

Missed a chance to lead at the half, but UD played pretty well those 20 minutes and we're right there.

Just need one more deuce than them in the second half to advance to the Garden. :osu:

this is a good game...osu needs to bang it down to Kosta a bit more...force feed butler....roberts and wright are beast...watch out for marcus johnson...he really is the X factor right now....can't you tell i'm rooting for both...live in dayton and love both teams.
