That may be the biggest human being I have ever seen. It was painful to watch him move up court.

The two Asheville guards were fun to watch.

Overall our effort was impressive. If they keep that up we could go far in this tourney.

Bit of trivia (if someone else has not already pointed it out): this was the first time ANY Big South Conference team has appeared in the NIT. Considering who normally qualifies for the NIT I found that quite surprising.

Myself and Thump went to the game tonight. Good game over all, the crowd was pretty dead, but that has allot to do with the students being on spring break. They actually had the entire top level cutained off.

George is just gigantic, and I don't know how much was seen on tv, but near the end of the game he was begging to come out of the game he was so winded.

Overall good game, if they stay focused it could be a good tournament for the bucks

Butler's the boss in Ohio State's NIT win

COLUMBUS ? Looks like the Buckeyes will have to give up their Bruce Springsteen tickets.
Jamar Butler scored 21 points and added 10 assists to lead Ohio State past North Carolina-Asheville 84-66 Tuesday night, March 18, in an NIT first-round game.

The Buckeyes advance to host the winner of today's New Mexico-California game Monday night at nearby St. John Arena. The game had to be moved from Ohio State's Schottenstein Center, the Buckeyes' home court, because it is booked for a Springsteen concert on Monday night.
"It's a tough choice. 'The Boss' is comin' to town," Ohio State coach Thad Matta said with a grin. "Maybe we could have a doubleheader. Or maybe we could get him to sing the national anthem."
