, cant be true..............

We were one of the best defensive teams in the nation. 7th in ppg allowed. For whatever reason, that got lost on message boards every time some guy hit a few threes on us and we lost 58-53, as if defense was the problem.

Not saying YOU said that, but it was on the message boards, including this one. Defense has been our strong suit. It was again tonight. When we actually score some points we look pretty damn good. :)

If KK would just have a lil patience, he has to think about how good he could be in his natural role next year w BJ. If he stays, we are going to be fucking bad!!!!!

I hear ya.
I'm not greedy - I don't expect him to stay 4 years. The money is too great. I just want ONE more year with KK.

Great win for the bucks tonight. I heard some sports guy on the radio( florida fan) say he was almost glad the gators might win a few in the NIT, rather than be one and done in the other tourney. Along those lines, I believe a solid run in the NIT by OSU will prove to be very beneficial to this years squad, as well as adding a positive going into next year. Go Bucks!

Call me crazy but I would rather go 1 and done in the big dance than win the NIT. There are some positives for the younger guys to play some additional meaningful games but the NCAA is where its at.

Too bad our main cogs from this win tonight wont be around next year. Losing Butler is really going to hurt. Losing Hunter will be made up a little by getting BJ in here. It all hinges on KK. If he returns we should be the favorite to win the Big10 with Purdue and have a great shot at going deep in the NCAA's where we belong.

For now I'm just going to enjoy watching these guys a few more times this season and dream about the what if later.

Damn shame we couldn't switch back to St. John's for our home basketball games. What a home court advantage that used to be.

I like Hunter and appreciate what he's done for us, but bringing in Mullens won't just be making up a little for the loss of him; it'll be an upgrade. Mullens is an incredibly gifted athlete like Othello but he's also 5 inches taller and used to playing in the post. I agree with the rest of your post.
