We get to pay our hosting bill which is now over $500 a month. Unfortunately, I'm no longer getting a minimum base payment (as of March) from SportsWar, so there are going to be months (I suspect) where we come up short. Scary short if the campaigns dry up. That's why you've likely seen Google text ads serving as filler. I'll have more to say about that in the semi-near future. This campaign, and hopefully more like it, helps create a buffer.

I really just wanted to bring attention to it so the ads will get some clicks, although I honestly have to say the shoes are (as so many have said) pretty damn cool. Where was "design your own Nikes" back when we were kids?

What kind of money does BP get per click? With as much time as everyone spends here, we could all strive to get click happy at least once a week.

Honestly, I'm not sure as SportsWar set it up. I think it's a comically low CPM with CPC boosts? I'll ask them the rates tomorrow.

okay, i'll fess up. i've clicked on the ad about two dozen times since you posted this thread Clarity, and a window pops up, but the dang thing never loads anything (though the window tells me it's loading the page). it's not a pop-up blocker issue, so i'm confused.

maybe i've been doing too many dickwad vodoo farks on my notebook and it's now been infected... :biggrin:
