So when Nick retired, the Buckeyes got 3 transfers from Bama.

The guy who finished his eligibility last year, Seth McLaughlin, won the Remington Trophy.

The other 2 are Caleb Downs and Julian Sayin. Does anybody think all 3 guys won’t end up winning National Individual Awards?

That’s very funny, but it’s not accurate. Sayin played his senior year of HS in 2023 and enrolled early at Bama in time for Rose Bowl practices. He transferred out in January after Saban quit (thanks, Nick!) but he wasn’t on their scout team until after the regular season.

Getting older is a bitch. It’s the short term memory that goes first. He’s right that sayin was on the team and might have been on the scout team but he’s confused on the details.
