I think you could look at it that way, but he also probably wants to get his feet inside a talented school like Glenville. He probably knows it's a long shot, but why not try and make Ohio State work a little to keep the talent in state?

Vonn Bell wasn't from Alabama. There's always going to be competion for top-name recruits from out-of-state, but when you target three kids in a single day from the home state of a former coaching nemesis, that's a whole 'nuther ball of wax.

If I'm a head coach, I'd be more concerned with getting talent for my team rather than preventing a team from another conference from getting its in-state talent.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when the time comes where that "95" needs to become an "85". I wonder how those conversations are going to go? Miscalculating numbers by 1 or 2 kids is one thing, over recruiting 10 extra kids is a blantant act and misuse of scholarship offers knowing you are going to have to send 10 kids packing at some point. I guess we have seen the same thing happen at OSU the past 2 years under Meyer but to a much lesser extent. 10 is a lot.

I think that's a little over exaggeration given the fact that Saban has won three of the past for BCS titles. He's not going to feel abundant pressure because he missed on one kid.
