The escort and Saban were supposed to be on the field at that time. She wasn't. She was running straight ahead into the cop with her nose in her phone. I wouldn't exactly blame the cop for that. How was he supposed to know some crazy chick not paying attention was going to run into him?

If that tweet doesn't prove fan is short for fanatic nothing does. Before Saban showed up Bama was a joke and something your grandpa talked about. I would say similar to where SCum is at right now but Bama actually won Natty's. When Saban leaves so will the domination. The guy is a maniac and unrelenting in its truest sense. And they are not out of the hunt yet. I think there may be 3 - 1 loss teams in the playoffs this year. Cincy might be able to sneak in if they for undefeated but there is a lot of season left. If Cincy losses their might be 4 - 1 loss teams in.

I guess we are going to have to endure the idea that the person who had no business being on the field had rights until some coach or player gets jumped by the mob and gets hurt or worse. Then we will all stop feeling bad for the people who are breaking the rules. This is part of what happens when you break rules......sometimes it goes poorly or worse than you think it should.

You go swimming in the ocean, you run the risk of getting bit by a shark. You go running on the freeway, you run the risk of getting hit by a car. Now, I suppose there is still a chance of being bitten by a shark or hit by a car if you're not in the ocean or on the freeway, but the odds drop dramatically.

Meh. If she's not looking at her phone while running at a sheriff's deputy a forearm shiver doesn't drop her to the ground. Those guys are there to protect the highest paid employee of the state of Alabama. They did their job.

Saban needs protecting from her?
I don't think the penalty for being on the field and looking at your phone is a concussion or whiplash. That guy wasn't doing what he did to protect Saban from anything.
