Interesting story that might be misplaced and perhaps needs to be moved to the Lebron James thread.

Lebron lawyers have made contact with the University of Alabama attorneys about a web series that Coach Saban approved and participated in.
The series features Saban, Tide Alumni (Julio Jones, Mark Ingrahm) and other players staff in a barber shop. Topics of discussion include football, life, money, struggles, humor...etc

Apparently Lebron did something similar but never took it past the first 5-6 episodes so he believes he's created the nitch market for Barbershop shows.

"Your continued exploitation of 'Shop Talk' infringes 'UNINTERRUPTED's' copyright, trademark rights and other valuable intellectual property rights in 'The Shop' and significantly damages 'UNINTERRUPTED's' commercial prospects for 'The Shop, " according to the letter sent to Alabama.]

Saban responded during his Spring Practice presser yesterday:

"I think LeBron James is a great player," the coach said. "There's been at least 20 barbershop-type things I've seen. I didn't even know he had one. I'm sorry anybody could be offended by something we were just trying to have fun with. I enjoyed it and we're going to continue to do it."]

You have to chuckle at that. One of the most, "who the hell do you think you are?" responses I've seen given to Lebron.

Worth a chuckle, indeed--I get that Saban is a big dog in the college football world, but in terms of worldwide "who the hell do you think you are?" the dude is overplaying his hand to a laughable degree. I'm surprised he's that naive (yes, even for Saban).

What Loveland Buckeye said. Schedule better games and don't whine about your fans not showing up / staying for the full game when you're up by 40 points with your 3rd stringers in. Spoiler alert - they're college kids who have short attention spans and would rather be partying than watching that. That's life bud. Thankfully I don't believe I've ever heard Urbs or Tress take shots at our fans.

I've heard people lining up to defend him stating Nicky wants to play harder schedules but only if everyone else does. I don't buy that for a second. He has a say on everything that goes down especially scheduling. He could ask for home and homes instead of the neutral site games. He could ask to stop scheduling FCS games. Possibly not his fault that the SEC hasn't shifted to 9 conference games but they need to nut up like the other leagues so they're not artificially adding 7 more W's to their conference compared to the other leagues. He's going to take every angle to position his team to get into the playoffs. I get it. Own it like a man and don't whine like a bitch when you can't have it both ways. There is nothing I loathe more than that. Get a grip Nicky...sheesh man with your bitchy ex-wife persona
