Daniel Carcillo lost his damn mind last night. Bumping into a ref is one thing, he gave a linesman an elbow to the jaw.

Why was the ref separating Carcillo from no one? I saw him get tossed in the game, but never saw why. After watching the Youtube video, I can understand the refs reasoning for tossing him, but why did the refs have his hands on Carcillo when he wasn't anywhere near a fight?

I'm not sure. Could have been something verbal or it could have been a rep thing. It is really odd to see a linesman separating someone who isn't all the way involved.

Not only separating him, but both hands locked into his jersey like that... Just seems a bit strange to me. I can see what you are saying though, if the guy has a reputation to say something to rile up the rest of the guys on the ice that aren't fighting, I can see why the ref would be there to make sure nothing else happens.

Well whatever happened, he was suspended for 10 games as of last night. He's done for the year and if the Rags don't play 10 more games this year, it'll end up costing him a few next year as well.

There's something about Leafs fans that make them super obnoxious. They seem to like to go to games where the leafs aren't playing and making an ass out of themselves. I went to a Flyers v. Sabres game in Buffalo and sat in front of four Leafs fans and they were the most annoying drunks I've ever been around. That's saying a lot considering I'm a Flyers and Phillies fan.

Patrick Kane isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
