Looks pretty obvious they're burning it down. Bet they feel swell about that Jones trade/contract now. :lol: Wonder how long before they trade Kane and/or Toews.

CBJ got Sillinger, Bean, Biqvist, and now Kiricek and the Hawks are paying Jonesy $10M per year for the next 7 years. :lol:

I know the talk right now is on the draft but I wanted to ask CBJ fans a question:
how hard will it be to get single game tickets when they go on sale later this month?
wife’s bday is 10/28 and I was thinking of getting two to see the B’s in C-Bus that night.

CBJ averaged 89.5% capacity for last season, so shouldn't be difficult.

Adrienne Ruth is a die-hard Avalanche fan, who also is a great local artist. She’s also a huge Nazem Kadri fan, and already knew him from some previous interactions. After the Avalanche won Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on an OT goal by Kadri that Lightning coach Jon Cooper complained shouldn’t have counted, she got a message from Kadri asking if she could make him a personalized t-shirt with “Too Many Men” written on it.

Working at lightning speed, Ruth was able to do up a design, get it on a one-off t-shirt and get it to Kadri in time for him to wear at the parade in Denver yesterday.

thank you again for this. signed up and got early access yesterday and was able to snag 2 great seats to see the B’s. I do pull for the Jackets so when they win that night it won’t kill me. lol

I know I'm late to the party, but this is an incredible return for Calgary... if they sign Huberdeau and Weegar. I know Hubderdeau's agent has already discussed an extension with them.

That being said, I think Calgary is expecting a rebuild in no more than three years. They just signed Mangiapane to a weird contract. It'll take him right into FA. They paid him like they were buying UFA years... without buying UFA years. Very strange. Same situation with dman Kylington. Both good players, both were just RFAs, still young. Mangiapane got a 3 year contract and Kylington got a 2 year contract. The deadline will tell us what Calgary wants to do with its future. (they need to blow it up, they just lost the two players good enough to build around)

Kadri is apparently signing with the Islanders, but the Islanders need to move cap. Apparently Josh Bailey is the cap casualty. Hopefully future considerations is warming up, because Bjorkstrand is both younger and better and he didn't get shit.
