Nazem Kadri's OT goal leaves everyone confused as Avs move one win from the Cup

Avs ahead 3 games to 1; and heading back to Denver for game 5. She's warming up:

We’ll see what Jon Cooper has to say today. Last night he said he didn’t want to talk about it, but they should still be playing. Replay show that the Avis had 6 men on the ice just before Kadri’s game-winner, and the guy who was heading off was over 40 feet away.

He was much calmer today - focused on Game 5 but definitely still bothered by the “significant advantage” gained as he described.



If you Zapruder this :14 second clip, the Avs player jumps on around :04. There’s a defensive player making his way to the bench but turns around when he realizes Kuempfer (goalie) played the puck quickly to the neutral zone. MacKinnon I would say gets within 5 feet of bench around :08 and isn’t involved in the play. Technically right but not significantly so I’m gonna say it’s Tampa being whiney and enjoy Tampa’s tears.

(Note I’m also not exactly a hockey rules expert.)

There’s another angle from behind the Colorado net that shows that Tampa also had 6 players on the ice at the same time.
