No hatred, but I've spent about thirty of my 37 years in Atlanta and watched it all. I actually got excited about them in 1980, had a great poster I got from a Big Star supermarket of a Falcon and their linebackers (Buddy Curry and even I don't remember the other two). I used to pretend to be Wallace Francis catching bombs from Bartkowski in my front yard. They were 12-4 that year and we all thought they had turned the corner. After all, how could you not be successful in football in the SE? The following season they were under .500 and you, presumably, know the rest.
They suck, they always have, they always will. Since 1966, Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Tennessee have all been WAY better and proved that to perpetually suck in the SE US, it takes hard work. The 1998 year was an aberration. Even had Eugene Robinson not decided to have his johnson sucked by an undercover cop (has there ever been a more perfect metaphor for a team?) the night before the Super Bowl, they would've gotten their ass kicked. They suck, they're nothing but cheese with the second-tier arena league uniforms and they ought to just move to Birmingham.
No hate, though, dude. :)
