Someone brought this up...it's only double jeopardy if they went to trial and lost...since the case was never brought before a jury, the procurator has the right to reopen the case in light of the "new" evidence.

The recently retired James Harrison committed far worse acts of violence on the field than Ray Rice did with 1 punch which his wife forgave him for , the NFL has finally nailed the coffin shut for me as I will no longer watch any games .

So Ray's wife posted a statement blaming...everyone but Ray Rice. Not sure I've seen anyone surpass that level of denial.
