Why is that? Because he isn't setting the world on fire? Or living up to hyped expectations? Tim ate bow, Brady Quinn, Brandon weeden, Jamarcus Russell. Only takes one to fall in love to make you a first rounder, and GMs love to draft on potential so I really don't see it as out of the question that a team late in the first goes for a talented but raw QB for the future

That isn't really fair. None of those other guys had other QB's like JT and Brax to compete with. I don't think I'd want the Browns to use their first round pick on him, but if he's there in the second I'd take him. That would rely on Manziel flaming out at some point this year.

No way Cardale goes first round. That was the original posters comments. I will happily eat crow if I am wrong but it just seems very unlikely at this point. I see an early 3rd round guy.
