I’d have a lot more respect for Jack Tatum if he’d have reached out to some of these WRs he’d wrecked on his own and not just when NFL Films had cameras on him. Legendary Buckeye, but he did a lot of guys dirty, and that’s a bittersweet legacy to leave behind.

I heard this story a few years ago. Just ridiculous that no one from the Patriots organization stayed in Oakland to look out for Stingley. They just got on the plane and left him to fend for himself until family arrived. What a class move by Madden, all the way around. He didn't have to do anything, but he showed more concern for Stingley than Stingley's own team showed for him.

Was watching some of the Dolphins Hard Knocks. Those kind of shows always make me think how exhausting and boring it must to be in your 10th year of having to listen to those coaches speeches in the meeting rooms. Although I gotta admit the coach who said "the only language everyone in the world understands is ass whipping" that's a pretty good line
