NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

I know people are sick of Coach Prime and Colorado hype, but I bet this 60 Minutes interview is the highest retention rate CBS has ever had from the 4:00 NFL game before people flip to NBC since the contracts have been this way.
Ya know, everyone talks about him moving on from CU to a bigger college job, but I wonder if NFL teams are taking notice...

The Eagles convert the sneak play at a higher percentage than most teams convert PATs. I believe it's somewhere around 92% efficiency. Insane.

Not saying it should be banned, but it is a statistical anomaly that usually gets addressed by the NFL. The rule that once existed to prevent the push was removed because it was completely irrelevant due to it never being flagged. Curious how they handle it.

I think they handle it like baseball did with the shift or any other pro league does when a team finds a way to game the system. You ban it. Make it against the rules.

They are selling entertainment and no one wants to see it turn into a rugby scrum. Outlaw the pushing a teammate forward bit and instruct you Refs to blow whistles quicker on stopped forward progress.

Behind the scenes you tell them it’s coming in some kind of league meeting and don’t push it (no pun intended)
