Actually a good point. Yeah, I've always been a Giants fan, even though I've always lived in Ohio.

My estimation of Burrow took a step back when he made a comment, "It's not where you start. It's where you finish. I'll always be an LSU Tiger. I don't know why Buckeye try to claim me."

Of course, I also don't know why he didn't get a better shot at being the Buckeye QB. But that QB room was loaded with talent.

According to Joe (not sure who else we should believe), he never said that.
He claims both universities (as he should).

Haskins passed for 4,831 yards, 50 TDs and eight interceptions for the Buckeyes in 2018. Ohio State finished 13-1, and Haskins finished third in the Heisman voting.

It looked like a no-brainer considering Burrow's growing pains in his first year at LSU. Burrow finished with 2,894 yards, 16 TDs and five interceptions in more of a game-manager role, and the Tigers finished 10-3.

Just sayin': He was beat out by Haskins for QB1 in 2018 and both players stats that year pretty much valided it. And then in 2019 Orgeron hired Joe Brady as OC and Burrow's career took off.
