NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

I'm pretty sure it's hawaiian for concussed at this point.

NFL needs to come in scorched earth on the dolphins for letting him play concussed 2 or 3 games in one season
I know he's in protocol now, but was he evaluated during their game this week? I didn't watch, so I don't know if he sustained an obvious hit. I know that the more concussions you endure, the more susceptible you become to them, so a seemingly benign hit could do it. What they should have been in a world of shit for was trotting him back out there on a Thursday 4 days after getting his bell rung earlier this year. That was foolish and reckless.

As a Niners fan, the memory of Steve Young's career ending because of multiple concussions is still fresh in my memory. That was very unpleasant to watch (fuck Lawrence Phillips). Yeah, Young was already at the end of a long career, but I have a feeling Tua's heading for the same fate, just much earlier. Hell, if he was somebody I cared about, I'd already be in his ear about getting out.

This was apparently in the first half

So they're now guessing when he got hurt because he showed no symptoms, other than throwing the ball to the wrong team?

Any hit now on him is going to be a problem. I said before that his career is over because it didn't take a blow to his head to cause the initial concussion and the second one was even worse. He isn't big enough/ durable enough to play in the league and he's likely not ever going to be the same.

Shame for both him and the Dolphins because it ends badly for both.

NFL is fining Mac Jones over $11,000 and further reviewing his dirty play on Eli.

I only see three incidents, but...

The 2 bears clips are different plays.

One he slides and kicks at/tries the trip a guy to his side. The Other he pops up his leg and kicks a man in the balls. I only saw the 2nd live and thought it was dirty as fuck. And in the 80s someone one would have went for the kill shot after he threw the ball for that BS.

He also had a play (not shown) where he flicked the ball at a DE after a sack. Not really dirty like the ball-kick but shows his punk attitude (goes along with the punchable face).

He's been largely garbage this year. Single handedly sunk my fantasy team multiple times this season. :mad1:
He's still a better than average QB when he's not being coached by dipfuck after dipfuck. I expect him to do well at his next stop, if that next stop isn't also a cancer on footballs ass.
