They probably wanted to hire McCown but couldn't get past how that would look with Flores lawsuit. Can't hire Flores cause chances are the NFL blackballed him for the lawsuit. Thus we get the "safe hire" in Lovie

I would say McCown was also a no-plan option. Dude hasn't coached anywhere.
Would even be a stretch to hire him as an OC.

Well they interviewed him each of their last 2coaching searches so something is there at this point. But yeah no idea why they are interviewing someone with no experience

I like how Montana loves Kyle Pitts. The rookie TE for the Falcons who played at Florida and was born in Philly. Totally makes sense. Haha
