I usually only follow the NFL after CFB is over, but I seem to recall listening to sports radio a few weeks ago and hearing all about how great of a defensive mind Belichick is, and how great the Patriot's defense is this year.

Was that an actual narrative they were pumping out recently?

They're pretty good, but the Bills are ahead of them in pretty much every defensive category. Pats are definitely a top 10 defense, arguably top 5 (at least statistically). But the Pats have lost 3 of 4. And now 4 of 5.

I know they shut out the Falcons one week, but I also know that the Falcons are terrible. So I am not sure if it makes sense to put much stock into that game.
