That's kinda having your cake and eating it too though. Clearly quitting on the season got them the 6th pick and they aren't not going to choose 6th. Eagles just seem weird though firing lots of coaches that were over .500 for one bad season eyet still succeeding. Most places that would be a ticket to the basement

Eh, they won one super bowl. As far as I’m concerned, they’re not succeeding any more than the Cubs are. They looked really far from making it to another one this season. Any team could have sneezed and won that division at 8-8

Also yeah, it is, but I don’t know that ownership expected the public backlash from doing it. There has to be a fall guy

I don't know if Wentz likes to stick his head up his own ass or if he is just the biggest idiot in the NFL. If he can decide not to play like a guy who is trying to tank his own team, maybe he is good enough. Not sure if Pederson is toxic or Wentz is. Either way, somebody had to go.
