NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Someone needs to explain to me how that throwing motion has survived this long in the NFL at a mostly elite level. It defies logic and physics.
I was shocked the Colts brought him in. Brissett gives them a mobile QB with an arm when Rivers is just a statue back there. Not to mention he’s a whiny ass bitch and has been ever since the Buckeyes smacked him around when he was at NC St.

Patrick Mahomes should be NFL MVP this season. Rodgers has had a great year, but he benefits from a better OL and rushing attack which most teams can't stop at all. Aaron Jones is running all over everyone - except Tampa, you saw what happened there when one team stuffed the run from GB. These recent games there isn't a high degree of difficulty in the plays Rodgers has been making - he is basically making smart, open plays vs overmatched opponents. Rodgers is a brilliant QB, he deserves a lot of credit, I just don't think his TD/INT stats and rating tell the whole truth of this race. I believe the Packers have played a bit weaker schedule overall compared with the Chiefs, and lost 3 games compared to 1 for KC, who has gone 14-1 as defending champs getting everyone's best effort against them.

I'm as big of Mahomes fan as there is, but Rodgers doesn't benefit from all the weapons or the offensive creativity that Mahomes gets to play with. It's basically him and Davante Adams and you still can't stop it.
