COLUMBUS ? The Newark boys cruised to a 63-40 victory over Pickerington North on Saturday in a Division I district semifinal. Newark will face Westerville South at 2 p.m. next Saturday for the district championship.

I went to the game. Really well played game by Newark. This team loves to hustle. I love watching them.

Newark played tough today, they straight get after it for 32 minutes. Next on the agenda Westerville South. It's going to be a tough one, I say Newark by 10. Let's go Cats!

Newark boys rally for victory, advance to regionals

COLUMBUS ? The Newark boys basketball team defeated Westerville South 55-49 in the Division I District Final at the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum on Saturday. Newark trailed 45-43 with 5:39 left before closing out South with a 9-0 run. Kendall Stinson capped the run with two free throws and finished with a game-high 17 points.

Wildcats set sights on possible state berth

COLUMBUS -- Athletics director Kevin Jarrett is concerned the athletic department might have a hard time selling tickets for the Newark boys basketball team's Division I regional final with only a day between games. If Thursday's showing by the Wildcats' fans is any indication, Newark will see a familiar sea of maroon Saturday when they step on the floor against Cincinnati Moeller.

Actually, it's all my fault. I never posted before a game untill tonight. I was just upset and I projected my anger onto you. Not cool.

Yeah, my therapist always gets on me about projecting. It's cool man. Just go to a happy place. That's what I do...
