New Uniforms/Nike Changes (Basketball)

A guy from Nike's PR firm emailed me today, offering hi-res images of the new uniforms. I'll take him up on it if anyone's interested.
There are some pics available on systemofdress.com. Be forewarned, they are quite big. It'd be great if you can get more than the six pics they have onj that site though.

SystemofDress.com (Nike) Thanks Stoic!

The letter and number blocking on the Ohio State uniforms was borrowed from the 1960 Buckeye team that won the national championship. While commonly known as a perennial football powerhouse, the Nike Pro Compression base layer players can wear beneath their jerseys pays tribute to the Buckeye's rich basketball tradition by calling out a number of players by name.

The new uniforms also feature the LeBron James logo created by Nike. A big Buckeye fan since James was a child, Ohio state is the only college team to wear the "LB23" logo on its uniforms.

I don't know if its the socks or what, but I like the red ones a lot more than the white ones, and although I know its kinda weird, I think the long sleeve thing is kinda cool. Either way, if Oden is grabbed now it HAS to be called.

Hopefully our guys will tuck in the jerseys. The tight FB fabric was rendered useless by many (Ginn, Gonzo, Pitt) when they let defenders grab the untucked bottom of the jersey.

Is it a wonder why the only team to ever go undefeated in the NCAA Division 1 mens basketball wore nut-huggers?

How did this statement make it through? They were the LAST, but not the only.

OSU has fun with fancy new jerseys

Uniforms are the hot topic among relaxed Buckeyes as the Big Ten tournament begins today in Chicago.

COLUMBUS ? The Buckeyes were as loose Wednesday as their shorts will be Friday.
The No. 1-ranked Ohio State basketball team had fun answering questions about their next-generation uniforms.

Cont'd...

That long sleeved shirt is going to look sweet under my football jersey next fall too! Personally I dont like the long sleeves for basketball but for football yeah. I like the way the whites look too except that the shorts are almost touching the guys shoes. The whites look really clean, and I am one that appreciates the "Gray" left in.:wink2:
