Nike unveils fitted uniforms for schools

Players from four elite basketball universities will be hitting the court this week with distinctly different Nike uniforms that showcase their upper bodies ? and a little less leg.
Nike unveiled the new line of basketball uniforms Tuesday. They are being introduced for the University of Florida, Ohio State University, University of Arizona and Syracuse University. The shoe and apparel giant plans to start introducing personalized uniforms to all its NCAA-Nike partner schools beginning next fall.
The new look is decidedly different. The jerseys are tighter and the shorts are longer and baggier. And players have an option of "personalizing" their look with aerodynamic underlayer tops and leggings.

About the uniforms, I have no problem with the LaBron logo, that's just the world we live in. Other than that, the tops are too tight, but I understand the reasoning. The shorts (skorts) are ridiculous, MCHammer evoking. I like long shorts myself but I couldn't even go clamming in those, they'd get wet. The old jerseys were way too big example to follow when I can find it.

OK, this picture I think looks a little more like what they will look like on players.

Have to say that it isn't as bad as first impressions... they do need to take 2-4 inches off the shorts though.... seriously at that length wouldn't the shorts interfere with dribbling?

The Florida guys said they liked it cause if they did, no one saw it till it reached their socks.....:biggrin:

If I knew how to fark I'd put that uni on Bart Simpson.

Someone needs to shoot Phil Knight. Next thing you know he'll have our football jerseys fucked up too, scarlet with black "Rutgers" stripes... oh I forgot, he already has.
