Caught the new shows Mike & Molly and Chase last night, loved both! Was wanting to see what all the hype was about "The Event" but missed it. Anyone else watch these shows? Opinions??

The Mike & Mollie show was good! He (Bill Gardill) is from Pittsburgh & is always on WDVE once a week by phone! He is a hoot on the air.

I started watching the League this year and loved it. Anybody know of any *ahem* affordable ways of seeing the first season?

This site has links to pretty much any show in the last 5-10 years (some more than that).

Here is the league....

http://watch-series.com/serie/the_league

Just a link site to direct download sites (like wisevid, divx sites, etc). So technically the site itself is legal. They simply do the best job of getting links that actually work (none of that crap where it's a video telling you to go to another site).

If you want to find other shows, just clink on "Series" in the black banner. They are sorted alphabetically (note: a tv show that starts with "The" is actually filed under T).

Boardwalk Empire seems like it will be great.

It was pretty good. Not great, but I am sure I will keep watching. Interesting that they changed the name of the main character (his name was Nuchy Johnson, not Nucky Thomson), but used the actual names of the other gangsters.

It's still tough to get the image of Tommy from Snatch out of my head for they guy that plays Al Capone.

I mean, not that I'd know ofr anything, but...

SurfTheChannel is okay ... crap quality most of the time.
I guess I can post the link I sent him, for those of you who want good quality tv shows, and have nothing against downloading.

http://eztv.it/

They have a disclaimer at the top explaining why what they do is legal, why downloading and uploading tv shows does not cost the companies a penny in commercial money, etc... good read if you want to.

In my opinion, Chuck is one of the most entertaining shows on TV.

That is all.

PS.

Fringe is great too.

I agree. I don't know why Chuck always seems to be struggling to get renewed. Any show that gets Sarah Connor to kill Ivan Drago has to be good right?
My only problem with Fringe is that JJ Abrams didn't live up to his normal quality with the casting of the female lead. Noted it's hard to get better when the past two have been Jennifer Garner and Evangeline Lilly. I might give Undercovers a shot tonight, but I have my doubts. Much like Christopher Nolan movies Abrams has earn my viewership for at least one episode based on past performance.

I just started using eztv for my tv downloading a couple months ago. Ever since Mininova went legit I've had a hard time finding a nice easy to use list of new shows. My dish network channel lineup sucks so I have to download AMC, FX, HBO, and Showtime shows. I also have a problem if there are 3 things on at once like Thursday at 9.

I recorded The Event but have not watched it yet. The promos feel like a ripoff of the cancelled Flash Forward :sad2:

I'm looking forward to 'Running Wilde' on Fox tonight....from the producers of 'Arrested Development' and stars Will Arnett with frequent appearances by David Cross.
Thanks for the heads up. It has some potential. Arnett literally makes the show (whereas Arrested would have still been tremendous without him). I'm not sure if the supporting cast is strong enough.

It's a major recycling of Arrested Development, from the background music, to the narration, comedic style and even the lead daughter's type of name.
My only problem with Fringe is that JJ Abrams didn't live up to his normal quality with the casting of the female lead.
I think she's a good not great casting, although she floats between being attractive and creepy (she's a two face!). I guess that fits in this show, however.

I have never used it, but it certainly looks like a torrent site. If you use torrents, you open yourself up to distribution claims. Won't likely happen, but with DIVX sites, wisevid, zshare, etc. you are not distributing content. So even if they wanted to sue you (like Uwe Boll films and Hurt locker) they couldn't get you for the big one....distribution of copyrighted material.

Torrents can give you a better quality picture (although some of the sites I mentioned do have really good quality too), but with the other sites I don't have to wait for a download to finish. I can watch it while it downloads. They have also been proven to be very safe.

Yeah, it looks like it has potential. Did you catch the GOB nod when in the narration it's said he had "made a huge mistake"?

Same here about the supporting cast, but I probably would have said the same thing about 'Community' last year it's first few episodes and by the end of the season, I think it was one of the best shows on TV.

I watched Running Wilde last night after hearing about it yesterday. Hopefully they add some other characters once they get beyond the pilot. I've never been a big Will Arnett fan, which doesn't help. In AD Michael seemed mostly normal and played off the crazy around him. Everyone seems crazy in Running Wilde.

For anyone that watched Chuck Monday. Did anyone notice the name of the company where Chuck had his interview? It gave me a cheap laugh.
