Can someone please let me know who dies in the new Harry Potter book. I cannot read. That is what I get for going to Kent Read, Kent Write, Kent State for undergrad.

Thanks.

Actually, I have never read any of the books. I am just curious who dies. Yep, I have been semi caught up in the hype.

Read those Harry P. books and your man card gets turned in and burned.

Ya, really. Literacy is sooooo gay...

Uh, am I the only one who has read all the books? I know that I'm not lol. To be fair though, I was like 12 when those books came out so I've just sorta always been reading them. They're pretty cheesey and not the best literature, but they're a good light read.

No, it's just the Harry Potter part that he is saying is gayish. I realize it is just a fad with most kids, but I don't personally know any adult that is into Harry Potter, purposely.

I won't be reading the books. I stopped reading books meant for that age level many years ago. I will however, go see the movie for the entertainment value. I like the Potter book movies better than the Lord of the ring

I'm not sure what you mean by "that age level" as nothing about the last three books is kid fiction.

Count me in the category of adults who is "purposely" in to this outstanding series of books.

I would not have thought it possible before I began to read them, as I had no interest in a faddish kids book... turns out the story is quite compelling, complex and entertaining.

I don't think the books were written with appeal to adults in mind. More like kids and teenagers. THe movies moreso but not the books. Don't get me wrong I love the movies.

The movies are far less complex and are a mere shell of the story. To me, the movies only serve as a visual extension to some of the key plot points, and don't really tell the story well at all. The movies seem more geared towards kids than the books.
