Well, it wasn't work.
The behavior here at home is different though. At work when I clicked the thread it would act like it was going to load but return me to the forum page (open discussion in this case). Here at home it just loads a blank page.
Both firefox, 1501 at work, and 15 at home.
IE at work didn't work either

Okay, I'm turning off the whitespace removal/page 'compression' right now. Tell me if anything changes.

That seemed to do the trick, I would agree with you that it shouldn't matter. I am curious though as to why it only seemed to affect certain people though.

Really, really bizarre.
All it does is strip whitespace. And it even makes a point not to strip it out of jscript or other areas where it might be relevant.
Well -- okay, now we know 'where', next question is 'why'. I'm going to dig a bit more, and will leave that off for now.

As with everything else around here, I think there will probably be a grassroots-type effort to put together some documentation for all of it. I think right now, people are just trying to get a feel for it though, and in some cases, sacrificing their hard earned vCash to do it. :)
It's all in a state of flux as well. Sometime over the next few days, with some usage data to sit down and examine, I intend to tweak options, prices, availability, earning rates, etc.
