Nevada +13.5 at Boise St (ov/un 71.5) Fri 10 pm ET

Boise in the top 10 is a joke, as suspected.

They have gotten a ton of mileage out of two wins - Oregon and Oklahoma - over the last five years. They play in a garbage conference and no one ever remembers their multiple bowl losses during that time.

34-0 at home in the WAC? Six conference titles (working on seven) in their first eight years. This is like some women's college basketball program. Take a solid team/program play woefully inept competition equals silly success.

Talking head passed off Boise's most recent bowl loss as a dead even game that TCU just happened to win.:bonk:
He also tried to qualify their BCS birth-right by pointing out that it was Ohio State (enter arrogant smirking baritone) that was chosen to go to the Fiesta Bowl.

I thought my nuts were going to ascend if I heard that clown complement Boise's defense one more time. You gave up 33 points at home to the team Notre fucking Dame shut out. Fuck you and that piece of shit blew turf fucking field that I fucked your mother on, Boise.

After watching Boise play this year I'd say that they deserve a pat on the back for winning their games and an invitation to the Poinsetta Bowl.

But they beat Oklahoma...a few years ago...on trick plays...and it wasn't even a strong Oklahoma team...but it was Oklahoma!...don't bother looking at their BCS bowl history...it was Big Game Bob and Oklahoma!

I think they're a good team and they'd probably give their BCS opponent a run for their money but if I had to choose between them and TCU for an at-large berth I'd go with TCU all the way. Oregon was WAY out of sync in September and they only mange a 19-8 win. It's impressive only when you look at Oregon's body of work but I think on a nuetral field if they played tonight that the Ducks would drill them. These days saying that you beat Big Game Bob in a BCS bowl is like bragging that you banged the town slut.
