Need some Ideas...

So for Christmas this year, I'm getting my Dad a 55 inch Smart TV. He has zero idea this is even idea that came to me. I don't want to just wrap it up and set it there as he'd figure it out, and plus the amount of wrapping paper that would take is insane (the box is 6ft long)

I currently have it stashed at a buddy's house and probably pick it up Christmas eve. My issue is trying to figure out how to give it to him. I want to be somewhat creative instead of opening the car and say hey here it is, help me bring it in

Any ideas?

Are you married or do you have a significant other?
Ask your Dad if you can 'store' a present for your mate at his house so they won't see it
You could even set it up at his house.. to 'test' it
He could help you do it

I thought about setting it up..

problem is we don't have a stand or a wall mount to put it in...as the current big screen TV is a fucking big box on wheels, so I would have to move that out of the way then just put it on the floor lol

....since it doesn't sound like you have a stand... break out the reciprocating saw... chop off the tube top of the old one... BAM base for the new big ass TV..
