(Have any of you ever played college football or are you all dweebs like nfl buck?? :tongue2: - nice pic)
Anyway - I know what I'm up against here -- all these "experts" and "insiders" , Tressel's good friends , etc. Of course none of you are over 5'9"
Anyway, here it is -- I actually emailed and got a response --I know that won't be believed by all of you experts, but for some insane reason I'm sharing it with you supposed buckeye fans anyway. Whoever got back to me in the email (wasn't Ted -- maybe his dad? - who knows) was very cordial and appreciated my support and imput. They got a kick out of my statement that I tried to rally buckeye fans on the net to get a petition for Ginn to stay , but most of them would rather bitch about buckeye football than do something positive. He reminded me that the real buckeye fans aren't always to be found on msg boards -- good point.
Bottom line - this was a very tough decision for Ginn -- not something decided until this weekend - regardless of what all you "experts" were reporting. I actually replied to the email with more of my reasoning for Ginn to stay -- the reply I got was that it wasn't about the money (ok - go off on that "experts") or injury , but whether Ginn's business was finished at OSU. Basically I don't think Coach Tressel was going to use Ginn in all the ways he should if Ginn came back -- that's just MY guess from the email I got. So , in other words, the Ginn contingent decided that their business was done at OSU. That email came yesterday -- I had said in my email to talk to coach -- if your not THE MAN next year then leave. Who knows what exactly happened , but in the last email I was told that it was a very difficult decision and its something that you'll never know. Who knows if Ginn comes back its a fantastic year for him next year - who knows if he'll be a great pro -- none of us know but they made the best decision they could. That's basically what the email said.
I am not an "insider" or "expert" -- I've played college football (division IAA) and I'm a huge Buckeye fan who has written for one website in the past and is looking to hook on with another soon. I've never emailed a player in my life nor do I intend to ever again. I just had a different slant on Ginn coming back than everything else I was reading and decided to pursue it. I of course didn't get any backing on the net - - what I thought would be a fun diversion from the NC mire just gave the "experts" a chance to spew their frustration at me - and for what -- because I love Ginn, the Buckeyes and I realized that it MIGHT be a special year for him and the buckeyes if he were to return. I'm just glad my email was much better received by the people that really matter -- it turned out to be an interesting experience anyway -- and I'm glad I learned the truth and didnt just listen to all the "experts" on the msg boards.

That's you're opinion. BTW, Hart is a whiner. He certainly isn't Tressel like.BB73;734012; said:I'm just jealous that Hubbard is one of her MySpace friends.
