Game Thread Nebraska @ Ohio State - 11/03/18, 12:00PM (FOX)

**GULP**

For some reason, the last years of the Mack Brown Texas teams are strikingly similar to what we're seeing here....

Except the fact that Mack Brown’s last four years, he went 30-21. If Meyer came anywhere close to 5-7 with this amount of talent, it wouldn’t take three more seasons to move on.

Sorry I just cant stand this and sorry alex for this rant...

Fuck this... this is a 2 and 6 team who got destroyed by Michigan. Yet here we are week 9 and its a 2 point game 5 minutes before the half. As always the defense cant flow to the football and the offense cant put the game away.

They literally were like...

"Lets do everything the same but better"...

Note to UFM... After the game just DON'T... DON'T talk about fixing things. Stop. Just shut up about it and admitt that this is what we are.

Cant stop the big play, we are undisciplined and we cant put teams away on offense.

Softest Ohio State team I can recall in years.

Can't run, can't play defense. All we can do is pass.

I think it’s too early to tell. This could be a one year anomaly...or it could be a lot worse. A lot will depend on how self-aware he is about himself and his staff.

I think the lack of defense this year and the dysfunctional offense at times is showing us a disturbing trend right now.

UFM is a far superior coach to Mack Brown by any measure, but some of the parallels are there to include the overly-corporate culture surrounding the program.

UFM hit his expiration date in Gainesville around this time. And he had great recruiting classes there as well.

Bingo. Sometimes the fire that burns hottest burns out quickest.
