Game Thread Nebraska @ Ohio State - 11/03/18, 12:00PM (FOX)

As it was said by somewhere on here.. why do we even recruit pocket passers if we arent comfortable with them?

To keep the other guy from getting them - think of what Haskins would do to improve Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn State - or even Maryland. And out of that group, the Bucks are the only team that runs nothing out of the T despite 4 or 5 years of troubles in short yardage situations.

Oh, and while I'm at it, think of where Buckeye history would be in Michigan or Penn State had gotten Pryor. I think Tressell gave the kid a free rein because he knew what would happen if he had to go into those games with Bauserman.

So slapped by 1 girl ... doesn't respond... and big girl has to push him down the bleachers?
Gee I'm sure glad we have feminism these days to make sure we're all equal ...
Maybe she should report him to the Powell PD and call McMurphy about it too?
Depending on what led to this moment, I'm betting this ends up in a law suit. Lucky the guy didn't head first into concrete or aluminum.

We have nothing to lose by throwing Browning in there full time
At least there's an upside
Cuz what we're doing ain't working

And watching the MLB play on both sides of Bama and LSU... I'm so jealous I'm pissed
I see our LBs beat every time they are in coverage
and M Wilson picks off a well thrown ball... in the end zone

Give me Browning and Booker on the outside and Justin Hilliard/Keandre Jones in the middle.

Ain't no court spending time on women hitting dudes. Like statutory rape that gets filed under 'man up' traditional sex roles.

But i did completely miss him spitting so i guess there's that. Doubt many people would support a dude that big throwing down a girl for spitting at somebody else.

Big guy too. Will be great in the stretch here with run pro.
Yep, I like him at the SS spot and put Fuller at FS. Wade and Okudah can play Nickel or rotate with Dime, pass coverage packages. Start sending out LBs on blitz angles to confuse the offense instead of them reading (incorrectly) and reacting (poorly).
If the personal aren't exactly what is needed, adjust what is needed to maximize the personnel.

I am not trying to respond aggressively to you or anyone else, or to be negative. However, this is exactly the kind of thinking that is hurting Ohio State. Despite putting almost unmatched talent in college football on the field, we need to objectively think about what Ohio State might have learned from a game against Nebraska.
  • Ohio State managed just 229 yards rushing.
    • Coming into the game, Nebraska ranked last in the B1G, with opponents averaging 298 rushing yards per game.
  • Ohio State managed just 266 yards passing.
    • Coming into the game, Nebraska ranked last in the B1G, with opponents averaging 272 passing yards per game.
  • Ohio State managed to convert 33% of 3rd down opportunities.
    • Coming into the game, Nebraska ranked last in the B1G, with opponents converting 41% of 3rd down opportunities.
Nebraska's average performance includes games against powerhouses such as Bethune-Cookman, Troy, and Colorado.

The Buckeye coaches and players better have one hell of a plan and play mistake-free, disciplined football against Michigan State, or it is going to be a beat-down of note.

FYI - Ive never seen you as aggressive or negative. You are one of the best contributors on the board imho. I am not comparing tOSU against other schools. I am comparing them against their own recent performances despite the competition. From that perspective I believe that the Offense improved significantly in rushing the ball and Red Zone production. Personally, I think it is because they simplified things, abandoning the PRO and putting in a couple packages that were new. Time will tell if it works against a better Defense. But for now, I am happy with the improvements I saw and the coaches willingness to make changes.
GO BUCKS!
