It's amazing deja vu reading the above is. Heard it on the radio and TV FREQUENTLY in Oregon after the Beavers played.

I think the clock was already stopped when Nebraska took the timeouts, etc.

However, on their (i.e. Nebraska) last possession, why were they snapping the ball with more than 10 - 15 seconds on the 40 second clock? Had they had better "clock management" BYU may never have gotten the ball back or (at least) not had enough time to move within field goal and/or "hail mary" range.

Or sending 6 and not allowing the QB time to set his feet instead of having 8 cover 3 and failing at it anyways.

I don't think it's an either/or situation. I mean, are they so far gone that an alum like Scott Frost is telling them to pound sand? I seem to recall another guy from the FCS ranks, and the Wyoming HC as well?
The Riley hire screams mediocrity. Offloading a toxic guy didn't mean they had to pick the most non-threatening push-over they could find ?
Oregon State is the big winner here. Andersen is a decent coach imo. And if it doesn't work out, Riley can always come back a 3rd time to retire.
