Bo calls out the SEC and ESPiN relationship.

Bo Pelini questions ESPN, SEC relationship
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini called into question the relationship between ESPN and the SEC, from which the new SEC Network is a collaborative effort. While Pelini didn't directly allege any bias on the part of the network in favor of college football's most successful conference, his implication was clear.

"I don't think that kind of relationship is good for college football. That's just my opinion," Pelini said at his Monday news conference. "Anytime you have a relationship with somebody, you have a partnership, you are supposed to be neutral. It's pretty hard to stay neutral in that situation."

FREEDOM TROPHY

Almost every Big Ten West Heartland game now has a rivalry trophy now - SBNation

Knock Big Ten football all you want, but when it comes to trophies, no conference in the country can match. Among others, Big Ten teams play for a turtle, a bronze pig, a bucket with bling, a bull, an axe, a jug and a hat.

The Big Ten West — specifically the four Heartland teams: Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin — has a particular affinity for trophy games. Of the six games those teams play against each other each year, four already have trophy games, and they've just added one more:

Get ready @alexhortdog95 because this trophy just ratcheted up my hate even more. Literally freedom will be on the line this weekend.

Dropping three spots in an off week is some bull[Mark May], especially when Duke is the only lower ranked one loss team... Didn't ASU lose by 40/to UCLA?
They say the problem with Nebraska is they played one good team and lost. I do disagree. They talking heads seem to think the Big Ten schools not named tOSU, MSU, Nebraska, Wisky and essentially FCS teams. Yes, the bottom 3-4 schools in every conference are basically like playing the MAC, but the mid-hiehg-level programs like PSU and ttun and mid-level programs like Maryland, Rutgers, Iowa and Minny are still tough teams to beat. Odds are you'll hit 2-3 of them on a good day, and you'll blow out the rest, but those programs on a good day are still a hard fought win. I'd like to see Georgia or Ole Miss or LSU go into Penn State and blow them out, it just doesn't happen easily.
