I think you all are looking at the Script Ohio thing wrong. Maybe the kicker's dream had always been to dot the "i", but he couldn't play the tuba so he became a kicker in hopes of one day playing at OSU. Poor kid still never got his shot. :p

*cough* sousaphone *cough*

Yeah, I agree completely. Dude was just warming up for the second half. He had no idea he was in the way, and when he did, he looks like he moved up 10 yards. Big deal. Hate to say it, but the Nebraska kicker better think warming up for a kick is more important than a visiting team's band. I know I know, but it's SCRIPT OHIO!!! Hate to tell you, but that doesn't mean as much to Nebraska fans as it does to us. Hard to believe, but it's true. I don't think there was any disrespect intended.

Just like nothing was meant by the off-tackle run with under a minute left. You don't want the Bucks to run up the score??? Then learn how to tackle. No disrespect there either. Both sides need to thicken up a bit, in my opinion.

As I mentioned earlier, let's completely disregard that it was Script Ohio. Can anyone name one time, at any level of football, where they've seen players take the field for warm ups while the band is still performing their routine?

If those guys wanted to stretch out their legs there are plenty of nets on the sidelines to kick into.

BTW, Huskerboard.com is full of nothing but respect for our band.

I mentioned this in another thread last night...that band was legit. The best I've ever seen at a college football game.

I felt bad for maher who clearly had no idea the dotting of the I thing was that important.

No wonder so many in the B1G think our band is pretty weak. That was awesome and mind boggling that they learn a new show of that caliber every week.

WOW!!! As someone who used to be a former tuba player in a marching band I can't even begin to tell you how hard some of those formations are to pull off. That is the best marching band show....technically, musically, and entertaining wise as I have ever seen!

They live up to their billing as "The Best Damn Band In The Land." Simply an amazing show!

For those at the game that got to see the halftime show here is a recap. This was the coolest halftime show I have seen by a marching band. The moving horse was just sick. Couple in the fact that the band learns a new show every week, so they only had a week to practice this, on top of going to class.

A must see if your a video game fan.

Only one FG kicked all day and it was in the first half. He didn't NEED to warm up :p

The Cal Bears had the fucking audacity to spoil Stanford's post-game show. :shake:

They make nets to hit golf balls into too. Lots of people still go to the range to watch the ball flight...

Do they shag balls while the grounds crew is doing their job with the range closed for business?

edit: and for the record I am in the minority here where I don't consider this such an overwhelming offense as some have made it out to be. Should it have happened? no. Did I lose sleep over it? no.
