It really didn't matter, 100% attention didn't make a difference earlier. I am getting recruited to go work for another company so I couldn't pass on the call.

I didn't realize it was a punter, but in another league a 4* punter was an A SPD but had no other skills at all. I thought it was odd to see that. Funny that you put him on coverage, make a man out of him yet.

Actually, he does the kickoffs rather than the placekicker. I wish I could use him elsewhere or give him a position change because he was the fastest guy I've ever recruited on my own () but like you mentioned about the other guy he has literally no other skills.

Alright. Advancing in 5 minutes.

Edit: only job has a game this week.

If Bama and Texas can lose their conference champ game it looks like Maryland vs. UCLA in the NC and Cal vs Cincy in the Rose.

Hey guys, just checking in to see how everything has gone in my absence? Who has won the most National Championships? The recruiting get any better?

Can't believe I have been without my PS3 for 6 months. Just sad...

Looking back, it looks like fanatic/UC has won pretty much everything... until a couple days ago anyway. :) Seriously, had fanatic even lost a game in this dynasty yet until then? I know he's been undefeated the entire time since I joined a couple weeks into Season 2.

On the flip side of things, that was my first win vs. a human opponent. All of the games that I haven't simmed have been close, but I had never been able to get over the hump.

Piney, I joined after you left of course and I hadn't played this game (or really any game at all) since the original Xbox went EOL. I took over a 2-star Maryland team and have been able to do pretty well with them I think. I've won the ACC every season (no human opponent in the conference helps) and raised them from 2-star to 4-star prestige. Recruiting has been fine for me, but not ideal. As you can tell from my backstory though, I'm probably coming from a bit of a different perspective than everyone else. I'm just happy that I've been able to go from landing borderline 2-star & 3-star players to landing a handful of Top 150 guys and my first 5-star this season. I am disappointed in player development compared to past (5+ years ago) versions of the game. I lost over 20 seniors in each of my first two seasons. My team is young, but I've mostly only been able to backfill with lousy players. This should be an offseason with low attrition, and I'm trying to oversign a bit to even out the classes and get rid of some of the dead weight (they're 1s & 0s, not real kids so I don't really care :tongue2:).

BTW, I'm a little disappointed that my RB isn't even getting a sniff in the Heisman race. He's finishing the regular season with 2000+ yards, should lead the nation in rushing TDs and finish second YPC - all in spite of missing about 3 games this season. Last I checked, DA-Bucks' RB (UCLA) was leading - his receiving stats blow my RB's away (I've managed 1 catch for 2 yards with my guy), but I would think my guy should at least be in the top 5.

The recruiting situation is interesting. Not as easy to improve your team as quickly like in years past. I am still B- across the board. Lots of 70's and 80's players. But it hasn't detracted much overall. Poor defenses are very frustrating to play with, but I guess it's better that way as you can really tell the differences between poorly rated players and bad ones on defense. Offense isn't as much of a difference once you learn how to user catch; if you don't user catch with poor WR or RB, you will drop a ton of passes. QB's on the other hand, can be very erratic throwing the ball if they are rated poorly.

Overall, I am very pleased with this game. Certainly has its quirks, but the most well rounded of the games since we've had the PS3 dynasties.

Good game, Fanatic. I can't believe I actually came back.

*sigh* I'm going to miss my RB's 99 acceleration.
You too man.

What sucks is end of the second when I was up 10 or whatever it was, I was contemplating running it out and taking the lead to half. But I thought to myself, I need to score more because I for sure can't stop him, and he starts with the ball in the 2nd half. So I promptly lose the pitch, you score, and that was the end of it. 2 picks in the endzone later and it was all she wrote. The only reason I didn't have three losses this year is because WOOD went on auto.

Hopefully this offseason is good to me for training.
